Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

* Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
* Patient ratios of 1 RN to 1-2 patients in PICU and 1 RN to 2-3 patients in Stepdown
* Must work 3 weekends within every 6-week schedule
* Float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed
* HUC available 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with shared tech support
* Perform procedures including IV starts, catheterizations, holding for lumbar punctures, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management
* Document using Cerner electronic health record system
* Operate Alaris pumps and related equipment
* Required certification: PALS
* Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required
* Dress code: All navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops
