Job Details:

* Work on G7 floor, Main campus
* Unit has 23 step-down beds and 16 medical surgical beds
* Patient ratios: 1:3-4 for step-down patients, 1:4-6 for medical surgical patients
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 4 PCTs
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 10 RNs, and 4 PCTs
* Work with equipment including lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable ventilated patients, and trachs
* Electronic medical record system: Cerner
* Required to work 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 6-week period
* Typical procedures include trach care, chest tubes, and wound dressing changes
* Must have 2 years nursing experience and experience working with trachs
* Previous experience with Cerner preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* May float to other medical surgical and progressive care units
* Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
* Must demonstrate flexibility and high level of clinical competence
