Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
* Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Call requirements include 1 late call per week (5:30 PM - 7:30 PM), 1 call shift per week (5:30 PM - 7:00 AM), and 1-2 call weekends per 6-week schedule (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)
* Level 1 trauma experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* 2 years of experience required in specialty
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* EKG onboarding exam required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (must obtain before start date)
* Required licensure: Kentucky Radiation License (KBMIRT) and ARRT - RTR or RTRCI before start date; pending license acceptable at submission
* Required charting systems: Epic EHR, McKesson
* Preferred equipment experience: Philips Single and Bi-Plane Angiography
* Performs procedures including interventional, structural, pediatric, congenital, ECMO, heart failure, transplant, Impella, IABP, TAVR, Watchman, PCI, and multiple devices
* Required skills include: accurate monitoring, angioplasty, ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, hemodynamic monitoring, Impella insertion, interpretation of dysrhythmias, left/right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), PTCA, room circulator, scrub and sterile field maintenance, TAVR, Watchman, and rhythm interpretation
* Preferred skills include: IV start, phlebotomy, coil embolization, pacemaker experience, obtaining vitals, and inpatient/outpatient experience
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Candidates may float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
* At least 1 reference required at time of submission
