Job Details:

* Variable shift schedules available: 6:30 AM?3:00 PM, 8:30 AM?5:00 PM, or 11:00 AM?6:30 PM
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
* Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
* Daily census of approximately 30 cases per day across 8 rooms
* Treat patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Call required to meet department needs
* Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
* May be required to float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals
* Valid California license required
* 50-mile radius rule applies
* Well-rounded surgical skillset required including general OR procedures
* Proficiency in procedures such as total joint replacement, laparoscopic assisted procedures, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, appendectomy, arthroscopy, cystoscopy, colonoscopy, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, and colon resection
* Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, vascular, robotic, and neuro procedures is a plus
* Fire safety, latex allergy, and malignant hyperthermia knowledge required
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
