Job Details:

* Work 4x10-hour day shifts
* Weekend requirement varies based on staffing needs, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage
* On-call required: weekday call runs from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM per call rotation with staff; call requirements may change based on staffing needs
* Guaranteed hours: facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* May be required to float to other campus if needed
* 4+ years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Surgical scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space
* Must be comfortable treating patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required procedural skills include but are not limited to: abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, amputations, anterior cervical fusion, ACL reconstruction, appendectomy, arthroscopy, bunionectomy, carpal tunnel release, cataract extraction/implant, cholecystectomy, colon resection, cystoscopy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, general OR, hernia repair, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted procedures, lumbar fusion, mastectomy, ortho/spine procedures, total joint replacement, and transurethral resection of the prostate
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams, with peak activity in August and September

This acute care hospital operates with 119 staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of surgical services supported by advanced technology including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and the Hana Table. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains a fully equipped operating room environment capable of supporting a wide variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, spine, gynecology, urology, and general surgery.
