Open Position: RN - NICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1988.12

Opportunity:

Level II NICU

Job Details:

* 3x12-hour night shifts
* Weekend coverage required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float to Baby Nurse as needed
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Charting system experience required using Epic
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, NRP Advanced, STABLE
* Care for neonatal patients with diagnoses including hypoglycemia, hyperbilirubinemia, R/O sepsis, TTN, RDS, prematurity, and IUGR
* Special equipment experience required: Bubble CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula
* Required skills include: administration of blood and blood products, arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), UAC/UVC management, and neonatal dosage calculations
* Additional skills required: APGAR scoring, phlebotomy, phototherapy, respiratory distress management, seizure disorder management, and neonatal abstinence syndrome care
* 12-hour orientation provided onsite
* 50-mile radius rule applies, no local candidates

This facility operates a Level II NICU with 5 beds and specializes in neonatal care for premature and medically complex newborns. The unit provides comprehensive neonatal services with interdisciplinary support and advanced equipment to manage a wide range of neonatal conditions. The facility maintains consistent staffing ratios to ensure high-quality patient care across all shifts.
