Job Details:

* Day shift position in the Catheterization Laboratory
* 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
* Overnight, weekend, and holiday call required
* Electrophysiology (EP) experience a plus
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (must be in hand at time of submission)
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 25-30 cases per day across 8 procedure rooms
* May be expected to float to like units within scope based on facility needs
* Required skills include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), cardiac ablation, electrophysiology lab procedures, IABP placement/removal, TAVR, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), procedural sedation administration and monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pacemaker insertion, and vascular closure systems among others

Facility:

This facility operates a comprehensive Catheterization Laboratory with 8 procedure rooms and a daily census of 25-30 cases. The department supports a wide range of advanced cardiac and interventional procedures, including electrophysiology studies, structural heart interventions, and endovascular procedures. The unit is equipped to handle complex cases across multiple patient age groups and maintains a high standard of specialized cardiovascular care.
