Dental Hygienist

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
* No weekend shifts required
* 39 hours per week
* Closed on major holidays
* Perform routine dental prophylaxis including removing hard and soft deposits and stains from teeth surfaces and polishing all surfaces of teeth
* Apply topical fluoride treatments to teeth
* Expose and develop radiographs
* Provide oral hygiene instruction and counseling to patients
* Offer nutrition and dietary counseling
* Make and confirm patient appointments
* Review medical and dental health history
* Take and record blood pressure
* Chart dental disease
* Utilize Epic Wisdom for charting and charge entry
* Train dental hygiene students with minimal supervision
* May require access to storage areas where medications are kept and carry out procedures requiring use of medications
* Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene required
* South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license required
* No experience required; 1 year of experience preferred
