Opportunity:
Urology Exp Outpatient Clinic RN - R10266
Job Details:
* Outpatient urology clinic setting treating adult and geriatric patients
* No on-call, no weekends, and no holidays required
* Patient ratio of 1 nurse to 6-8 patients with a daily census of 16 and approximately 8 visits per day
* Catheter exchange is the primary responsibility and must have performed this consistently within the last 6 months - this is a hard stop requirement
* Responsible for intravesicular BCG mixing and administration
* Perform trial of void, trial of passage, suprapubic catheter exchange, and self-catheterization instruction
* Treat patients with diagnoses including urine retention, kidney stones, chronic catheterization, bladder cancer, erectile dysfunction, BPH, hematuria, and urinary tract infections
* Urology background required; experience in ER, pre/post-op, day surgery/ambulatory, or home health is a plus
* Must have outpatient clinic experience and recent experience with catheters in a fast-paced environment
* Seasoned traveler required with travel experience mandatory
* Med/Surg experience considered if accompanied by catheter exchange experience
* Epic charting system experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certification: BLS
* Valid Washington or Compact RN license required at time of submission
* If extending contract, will be expected to train for telephone triage
* All requested time off must be listed at time of submittal
Facility:
This outpatient urology clinic provides specialized care for adult and geriatric patients across a range of urological conditions. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, phlebotomy, and unit secretarial support. The clinic operates with two procedure rooms and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system, maintaining a focused and fast-paced care environment dedicated to urology-specific procedures and patient management.
