Job Details:

* Work 5x8-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
* Weekend requirement varies based on staffing needs, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage
* On-call required: weekday call hours run from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM per call rotation with staff
* Call requirements may change based on staffing needs
* Float may be required within scope to meet facility needs or between sister facilities
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
* 3+ years of experience required; travel experience required
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Charting system: Epic
* Surgical scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space
* Must be comfortable treating patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required procedural skills include but are not limited to: general OR, total joint replacement, ortho/spine, laparoscopic assisted procedures, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Hana Table, lumbar fusion, anterior cervical fusion, laminectomy/discectomy, cholecystectomy, mastectomy, hysterectomy, appendectomy, arthroscopy, cataract extraction, colon resection, hernia repair, and more
* Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission

This acute care hospital operates with 119 staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of surgical services across multiple campuses. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a wide variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, spine, gynecology, urology, general surgery, and ophthalmology.
