Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* No on-call responsibilities
* Weekend requirement: up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
* Traveler will be required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas: December 24?26 or New Year's: December 31?January 1)
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* Minimum 2 years of experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (Radiation badge to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred; RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Facility guaranteed hours: facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Parking available with a $20 registration fee for a hang tag providing access to the designated parking garage

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties, including trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, operating within a busy and dynamic nurse-driven department that provides cutting-edge technology to the community.
