Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts per week
* Patient ratio of 1:2 maintained during days, nights, and weekends
* 2 years of nursing experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Dark Gray
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Required skills include: arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, ECMO and nurse-driven ECMO protocols, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), isolation precautions and PPE, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure, PICC line management, post cardiac surgery care, pulmonary artery line and Swan Ganz monitoring, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation

This facility operates a 10-bed intensive care unit with a daily census of approximately 7 patients, providing advanced critical care services. The unit is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team and offers access to comprehensive ancillary services. The facility maintains a strong focus on critical care excellence, supporting complex patient cases including cardiac and multisystem conditions.
