Opportunity:

Medical-Surgical ICU

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts with block scheduling
* 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required based on schedule
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
* Special equipment: CRRT (NXXT Stage)
* Key skills include: arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, continuous IV sedation, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation of dysrhythmias, suctioning, starting and maintaining IVs, and isolation precautions and PPE
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
