Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* 13-week contract length or longer, with an end date through 2/27
* Schedule determined per unit needs
* Every third weekend required
* No holiday RTO permitted for this role
* Call requirement: minimum 7 call days per month
* Typical call schedule includes two call days per week for two weeks each month and one call weekend per month
* Additional call coverage may be required to meet departmental needs, rotated equitably among all staff
* Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs; IR callback time is determined based on procedure type
* Call team consists of three staff members, one of whom must be an RN
* No float requirement
* Orientation: 40 to 80 hours; techs start directly on the unit on Mondays until Dimensions training is completed
* Scrubs are provided
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must have Interventional Radiology (IR) experience 90% of cases are IR
* Required skills: Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry
* Preferred skills: EKG lead placement
* Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS
* Preferred certifications: ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with medical experience
* Assist provider while performing diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
* Scrub and circulate IR/Cath Lab and cardiology procedures
* Medication administration performed by RN only
* Expect urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures including STEMIs
* Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include device implants: PPM and ICD
* Combo lab (IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP) with approximately 80% IR and 10% other procedure types
* Special equipment includes: GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Penumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System for Implanta Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit, Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, and Impella
* RTO after booking is not allowed and may not be worked out onsite; additional call-offs or RTO could result in cancellation and DNR
