Opportunity:
OT - Outpatient Lymphedema
Job Details:
* Schedule posted as 4x10s with 5x8s also available; manager is flexible with scheduling
* No weekend shifts required
* No call required
* Floating within facility and scope of practice to acute care inpatient facility as needed
* Work with patients ranging from adolescents and young/middle adults to geriatrics
* Treat a mix of diagnoses including patients requiring lymphedema care
* Daily census of approximately 5-7 patients per day with a patient ratio of 5
* Collaborate regularly with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs, and SLPs alongside the wound care clinic
* Work with compression fitters and lymphedema vendors supporting the lymphedema patient population
* Hospital-based outpatient lymphedema patient population located within the outpatient rehab department
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Lymphedema Certification must be in-hand at time of consideration
* Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, Lymphedema Certification
* Georgia OT License required (OK to pend at submission)
* If a major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it; if two major holidays fall within the assignment period, both are expected to be worked; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, two of the three are expected to be worked
* Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission

This facility is a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation and wellness center offering specialized lymphedema care and comprehensive therapy services. The outpatient rehab department features an interdisciplinary team environment where occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and specialized lymphedema vendors collaborate to deliver high-quality patient care. The center supports a diverse patient population and provides access to interpretation services as part of its interdisciplinary support structure.
