Job Details:

* 3x12 or 4x12 night shift schedule
* Block schedule approved
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* 10-bed unit with a daily census of 8
* Weekend coverage required
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, assist with chest tube insertion/removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, chronic/acute renal failure, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, GI surgery, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), infection prevention, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias, management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, phlebotomy, PICC line management, pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, and ventilator management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
