Opportunity:

Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech

Job Details:

* Day shift position with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* On-call required: 8-10 call shifts per month including weekend coverage
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* 2 Cath Lab rooms
* Perform procedures including Pediatric/Adult Transplant, Right/Left Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement
* Interventional Radiology (IR) experience may also be required, preferably pediatric
* Experience with congenital heart patients and heart cath procedures required
* Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred; EP experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only)
* CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also acceptable
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Charting system: EPIC
* Parking available nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for parking pass
* Block schedule available at manager's discretion
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission
* Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November; peak months are August and September)

This is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 865 total staffed beds. The facility operates a Pediatric Cath Lab with 2 procedure rooms and provides specialized care for congenital heart patients, including complex cardiac procedures such as transplants, biopsies, balloon and stent placements, and valve replacements. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes EPIC as its primary charting system.
