Opportunity:
Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech
Job Details:
* Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* On-call required with 8-10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage
* 2 Cath Lab rooms
* Experience in Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab preferred; EP experience also preferred
* Required case experience includes Pediatric/Adult Transplant, Right/Left Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement; IR experience preferred, particularly pediatric
* Patient diagnoses include congenital heart patients, heart cath procedures, pediatric/adult transplant, biopsy, balloon and stent procedures, and valve replacements
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only)
* CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also acceptable
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Charting system: EPIC
* Parking cost applies nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for parking pass
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Block scheduling available at manager's discretion
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission
* Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and September

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 865 total staffed beds. The facility operates a Pediatric Cath Lab with 2 rooms and provides advanced cardiac care including congenital heart procedures, transplant support, and a wide range of interventional cardiology cases. As a Magnet-designated institution, it upholds the highest standards of nursing and allied health practice, research, and patient outcomes.
