Opportunity:

RN - SICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Surgical ICU unit located on the 2nd floor
* Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for high acuity patients including post-CABG patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
* Work with equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO
* EMR system: Meditech
* Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
* Perform procedures including chest tube management, central line care, and medication drips
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH
* TNCC preferred
* Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
* Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive attitude

This medical center is a large trauma facility offering a wide range of surgical and critical care services. The surgical ICU unit operates with a dedicated team including RNs, a charge nurse, and patient care technicians on both day and night shifts, supporting 26 beds with a highly experienced staff. The facility is equipped with advanced technology including ECMO and CRRT, providing a dynamic and fast-paced environment for critical care professionals.
