Open Position: RN - Cardiovascular

Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

* Work in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit with 3 OR suites
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3-4 RNs, 2 Scrub Techs, and 1 Aide or Anesthesia Tech
* Night shift consists of a 3-member call team
* Patient ratio is 3 staff members per OR
* Call requirement is approximately one weekend per month and 2-3 days per week with a 30-minute callback time
* Perform and assist with procedures including CABG, valve repairs, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass, angiograms with interventions, LVAD, RVAD, and ECMO
* Provide Level 2 trauma coverage for all vascular and thoracic procedures
* Work with open heart, vascular, and thoracic equipment
* Utilize Meditech EMR system (experience preferred)
* Cardiac, vascular, and thoracic operating room experience required
* Ability to scrub cardiac and vascular cases preferred
* Scrubs are provided
* Time off requests must be included in contract
* Must be self-motivated, team oriented, and flexible

This facility is a well-established regional hospital located on the seacoast of New Hampshire. The CVOR unit is a close-knit team with long-tenured staff members, some of whom have been with the unit for nearly 20 years. The unit maintains a strong commitment to cardiovascular care, offering a wide range of complex cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures while providing Level 2 trauma coverage.
