Opportunity:
Radiologic Technologist - Cath Lab
Job Details:
* Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
* Must be available and able to take call
* Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and special procedures
* Pan heart catheters and run X-ray equipment associated with all Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures lab procedures
* Evaluate images to ensure proper density, contrast, detail, and structures for physician diagnosis
* Perform special procedures radiography using appropriate equipment according to department procedures
* Maintain procedural areas in a neat and orderly manner, clean and restock equipment and materials at end of each shift
* Complete assigned examinations within prescribed timeframes
* Report for duty in scrubs and ready for patient care
* Review requisitions for pertinent information and special requests
* Position and prep patients and set up equipment for all procedures
* Report all unusual patient reactions or conditions to the nurse
* Demonstrate willingness to rotate among various shifts or departments as needed to meet patient care needs
* Competencies required include Balloon Pump and Impella
* Current NH ARRT license required
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
* Completion of a certificate or degree course of study in radiologic technology required
