Cath Lab RN

Job Details:

* 4x10 hour day shifts per week
* Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period
* May be called off for 1 ten-hour shift per 2-week period
* On-call required 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday at 6:00 PM through Monday at 7:30 AM)
* Approximately 1 Saturday per month required as part of regularly scheduled 4 shifts per week
* May float to EP or IR Lab within department
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Epic charting experience required
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Parking is free
* Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
* Only 1 time-off request approved per 13-week assignment
* Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
* Required skills include: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Angioplasty, Cardiac Stent Placement, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Radiology, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and additional specialized procedures
* Special equipment used includes: Impella, balloon pump, laser, rotablator, shockwave, and CSI
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Unit performs approximately 40 pediatric cases per year; PALS not required as anesthesia is used for these procedures
