Opportunity:
RN - Long-term Care and Rehabilitation
Job Details:
* Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting
* Float between multiple units as needed including specialized Alzheimer's/dementia care, transitional rehabilitation, and long-term care
* Work with 31-bed specialized Alzheimer's/dementia unit requiring understanding of difficult behaviors and non-verbal communication techniques
* Provide care in 42-bed transitional rehabilitation unit for patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, stroke, and other short-term conditions
* Work in 42-bed long-term care unit providing ongoing care in a home-like environment
* Perform nursing services including IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management
* Flexibility required for 24/7 coverage schedule
* Associates degree in Nursing required
* Valid Maine RN license or compact state license required
* 1-3 years of RN experience preferred
* Medical terminology knowledge preferred
* Strong teamwork and communication skills required
* Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered
* Must reside outside of 50-mile radius
* Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
