Opportunity:
Radiotherapy Technologist
Job Details:
* 13-week assignment supporting the Radiation Oncology department
* 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
* Day shift with 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM start time
* Minimum 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience required
* Properly set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed
* Assess patient status during direct patient interaction and make appropriate referrals to healthcare team members
* Prepare for treatment delivery including chart/film checks, room set-up, calculations, and electronic medical record (MOSAIQ) checks
* Manage treatment calendar including programming port films
* Perform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning purposes as needed
* Work closely with other radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks as needed
* Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred
* Required certifications and licenses: ARRT, CA RTT license, and BLS certification
