Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 36 to 48 hours per week
* Must be able to take over a recovery in Labor and Delivery and assist in catching a baby during a cesarean section
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
* Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes and collaborate with patient, family, and healthcare providers
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
* Acute care facility experience: Preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), NRP (AHA or ARC)
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
