Job Details:

* Night shift position working 36 or 48 hours per week
* Floating to Bakersfield required as needed
* EPIC experience required
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS, AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS, S.T.A.B.L.E Certification, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
* Current nursing license per state of assignment required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members as appropriate

This facility is a full-service community and regional teaching hospital that has been focused on growth and technological expertise since 1974. The medical center features 156 beds and serves 10 rural Central California cities with primary and specialty care services, providing comprehensive healthcare to a diverse patient population across the region.
