Opportunity:

Credentialing Coordinator

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Five 8-hour shifts per week
* Onsite position only
* Minimum 2 years of credentialing coordinator experience required
* CPCS or CPMSM certification required
* EPIC experience required
* Current BLS certification required
* Perform core functions of the credentialing lifecycle including initial appointments and reappointments
* Conduct data collection, primary source verification, privileging, and file maintenance
* Engage in all assigned credentialing functions for medical and allied health staff including appointment, reappointment, privileging, and focused professional practice evaluations and proctoring
* Ensure credential files are error-free, accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner
* Support providers in the onboarding process including computer access, necessary training, orientation, and badging
* Maintain current knowledge of medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, and hospital policies related to medical staff and regulatory agency requirements
* Assist in maintaining the medical staff database
* Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the medical staff
