Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Evening shift position with 12-hour shifts starting at various times (2:00 PM, 2:00 AM, or 4:00 PM start times available)
* 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the field required
* EPIC electronic health record experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor), ACLS (from approved vendor), PALS (from approved vendor), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or CPI, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
* Current nursing license required per state of assignment
* Holiday RTO will not be approved
