Open Position: RN - Circulator OR

Job Details:

* Day/Evening shifts, 5x8s Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM
* Open to 4x10 schedule
* Schedule and start times rotate
* Call required at least 1 night per week and 1 weekend per schedule, potentially more based on need
* Assist surgeons and anesthesiologist and coordinate flow of equipment, supplies, and staff during surgical procedures
* Ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care
* Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment
* Competently circulate in the Operating Room during surgical procedures
* Apply principles of aseptic technique consistently
* Safely operate all equipment routinely utilized in the Operating Room
* Prepare patients for surgery including safe and appropriate anatomical positioning
* Perform pre, intra, and post procedure patient care planning and assessment
* Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials from operative procedures
* Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
* One year previous full-time experience in the operating room required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA or ARC), PALS
* CNOR certification preferred
* Current RN license in state of practice required

Facility:

This facility is a 162-bed acute care hospital that has been serving its community since 1959. The facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and serves as a county designated trauma center, providing comprehensive surgical and specialty care services to the surrounding region.
