CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 3x12-hour shifts with start times varying between 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, and 8:00 AM
* Shifts are scheduled together with no set days of the week
* Call required 1-2 nights per week
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy in addition to CT
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* Work on Philips system; X-ray experience required with willingness to cover as needed during shift
* Required certifications: ARRT CT (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)), BLS (from approved vendor), Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
* Preferred certifications: Advanced Certification in CT modality, Venipuncture certification
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
* Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required
