Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (1 week days, 1 week nights)
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday requirements apply if shift falls within blocked schedule
* No on-call or standby requirement
* Block scheduling will be considered
* 12-hour orientation shift provided (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
* Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
* Previous Med/Surg experience required
* RNs are required to read their own telemetry strips (Mindray monitors)
* RNs responsible for respiratory equipment management including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
* Float to Med/Surg and Swing Bed unit as needed
* ER holds are intermixed within the ER
* Separate Psych/seclusion rooms available
* Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC)
* Scrub color: Navy blue
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
* PALS preferred
* 50-mile radius rule applies

Facility:

This facility is a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) operating as a Trauma Level IV, STEMI receiving, and designated Stroke Center. The emergency department features 4 beds and 2 trauma bays, treating an average of 10 patients per day. The department is staffed with an ED physician and a charge nurse on each shift, with the charge nurse also taking patient assignments. The facility uses Point Click Care as its charting system and maintains separate Psych and seclusion rooms to support diverse patient care needs.
