Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care Unit

Job Details:

* Work on a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit
* Patient ratio of 4:1 at grid, with flexibility to stretch to 5:1
* Work every other weekend
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Neuro and trauma care experience required
* Perform neuro and spinal checks, C-collar placement, and TLSO brace application
* Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, and IV infusions
* Perform lumbar drain management, feeding tube placement, and blood transfusions
* Work with equipment including IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pumps, chest tubes, trachs, and patient lifts
* Use Cerner as the electronic medical records system
* Float to stepdown units and med-surg units as needed
* Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
* Must be a team player with a patient-focused approach
