Opportunity:

Clinical Nurse - Acute Care

Job Details:

* Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments
* Work independently in completing assignments following physician's orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures, and hospital policies
* Provide nursing support to individuals of all ages and their families
* Minimum 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility required
* Must hold a valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any U.S. state, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory
* Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
* Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
* Must complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire
* Must complete NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six months of hire

Facility:

This JCAHO accredited health center provides services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The facility offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. The medical staff includes a wide range of specialists including surgeons, internists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, family practice physicians, obstetricians, ENT specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and urologists, supported by a robust nursing team that includes registered nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and CRNAs.
