Opportunity:
Occupational Therapist - 8hr days - 40 GSA
Job Details:
* Permanent placement position with 40 guaranteed hours per week
* 8-hour day shifts with primary hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* 1 hour of office time is generally blocked each day
* Provide occupational therapy care in outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed settings
* Outpatient clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
* On-call rotation required every 5 weeks on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
* Holiday rotation is optional and not required for this position
* Typical daily caseload of 5 to 8 scheduled patient sessions per day
* Outpatient evaluations scheduled for 60 minutes; most treatment sessions scheduled for 45 minutes
* Inpatient sessions are typically 45 minutes with frequency and duration determined by the evaluating therapist
* Case mix includes orthopedic injuries, post-surgical, general deconditioning, acute and chronic pain, neurological disorders, and age-related conditions
* Some pediatric referrals included; must be comfortable seeing patients across the entire lifespan
* Experience providing occupational therapy in acute, subacute, and outpatient settings preferred
* Experience in lymphedema services is helpful but not required
* Minimum 1+ year of OT experience in a hospital setting required
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Wisconsin Occupational Therapist License required
* AHA BLS certification required
* Associate degree or certificate required
* Dress code is business casual; scrubs are allowed but optional
Facility:
This facility is a 24-bed critical access hospital with an attached emergency department and specialty clinics. The rehabilitation services department provides physical, occupational, speech, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation across outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed units. The rehab team includes physical therapists, PT assistants, occupational therapists, OT assistants, speech therapists, dedicated scheduling specialists, an exercise physiologist, and a registered nurse supporting cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services.
