Opportunity:

OR RN - 9hr variable days (72 biweekly)

Job Details:

* 9-hour variable day shifts with start times ranging from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM depending on schedule
* 72 hours guaranteed bi-weekly
* Must be flexible with variable day schedule
* Weekend call required every 3-4 weeks
* Rotating holidays with current staff
* On-call requirement of 1 week every 3-4 weeks with a 30-minute response time
* Float requirements include PreOp/PACU and may require clinic float
* Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:2 for procedures and variable during afternoon clinic
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in specialty area required
* Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital or small hospital setting is required
* Ability to circulate and/or scrub required
* PreOp/PostOp and PACU experience required
* Must be proficient in endoscopy procedures (required), GI, Ortho, Cataracts, Podiatry, Vascular, Pain Clinic, and OB/GYN
* Primary cases include endoscopy procedures, GI colonoscopy/EGD, lap chole, appendectomy, and C-sections
* Ability to start IVs required
* EPIC charting experience preferred
* Required certifications: Iowa RN license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS
* Associate Degree or Certificate required
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Strong work ethic, resilience, adaptability to change, and willingness to assist and train less experienced nurses expected
* Assertive, confident, team-oriented candidates preferred
