Opportunity:

RN - Medical Unit

Job Details:

* Night shift position on a 13-week contract
* Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation
* Required to work various shift lengths and various days - must be flexible
* No guarantee of hours or shift preference
* Nurse to patient ratio of 1:8 for nights
* Perform general medical unit duties including working with wound vacs and chest tubes
* Utilize Meditech EMR and Pyxis systems
* May float to Laulima Unit and Cardiovascular Unit
* 2-10 years of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Professional nursing attire required
* Orientation provided for each unit
* Active State of Hawaii license required prior to start of assignment
* Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday

This facility operates a 77-bed medical unit providing comprehensive inpatient care to patients with a variety of medical needs. The unit is equipped with modern medical technology and supports a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Orientation programs are provided for each unit to ensure staff are well-prepared to deliver high-quality care.
