Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts with a blocked weekender schedule
* Open heart experience preferred
* Current Illinois licensure required
* Patient population includes post PCI, post bypass, and CHF patients
* Experience pulling sheaths preferred
* CRRT experience highly preferred
* Level 2 trauma experience or above required
* RNs required to titrate drips
* 24/7 intensivist and hospitalist (MD and NP) in house
* Respiratory therapy assigned 24/7 to ICU/PCU with full respiratory equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPap
* Telemonitor tech on unit; RNs required to interpret their own strips using Draeger monitors
* Charting system: Allscripts
* BSN not required
* Cancellation policy: 3 shifts per 13-week or longer contract; 2 shifts per 12-week or shorter contract
* 4 hours of billable computer modules required at 7:00 AM the Friday prior to start; modules are delivered Monday through Tuesday of the week prior to start and should be added to the first week's timesheet
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

The facility provides 24/7 intensivist and hospitalist coverage and maintains dedicated respiratory therapy support around the clock in the ICU and PCU.
