Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Job Details:

* Varied shifts with 36 hours guaranteed per week
* Perform testing in chemical, microscopic, microbiological, blood bank, hematological, and serological disciplines to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease
* Responsible for accurate examination and analysis of laboratory testing results
* Maintain proficiency in venous phlebotomy collection procedures
* Participate in routine operation of laboratory equipment and instrumentation
* Responsible for constant monitoring of quality control procedures
* Bachelor's degree in a related field and graduation from an accredited School of Medical Technology required
* Must possess a current State of California Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
* Must be an American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) Registrant
* Two years of Medical Technology experience preferred
