Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday shifts as needed
* Patient ratio of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
* Nurse aides available with CNA ratio of 1:8, generally 1:10
* Telemetry monitored on a different unit
* Floating required to all acute care, cardio for medical patients, and EC for acute care patient holds
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
* General orientation: 1 week including EMR training
* Floor-specific orientation: 2 days
* 1 year of experience required with 1 travel assignment
* Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius from the hospital based on the address on driver's license
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS (both must be AHA)
* BSN not required
* Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a 44-bed unit with a staff of 40, providing comprehensive medical and surgical care to patients. The facility supports telemetry monitoring and offers a structured orientation program to ensure contractors are well-prepared for their assignments. CNA support is available on the unit, and the facility utilizes the Meditech charting system to manage patient records and care documentation.
