Opportunity:
Acute Care PT
Job Details:
* 8 or 10-hour shift options available
* Weekend rotation required with full-time therapy staff
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Acute care experience is required - minimum 1 year of experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certification: BLS
* Must have skills in acute care, orthopedics, neurology, gait training, patient/family education, and home exercise program development
* Experience with conditions including post-op surgeries, total hip and knee replacements, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation, and Parkinson's disease
* Dress code: Solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire for licensed personnel (print tops not acceptable)
* Free parking available in designated employee/visitor surface parking lots
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility features 379 staffed beds and operates as a Level II Trauma Center. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy services and cares for a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. The organization is equipped with modern charting systems and maintains high standards for clinical staffing to ensure exceptional patient care across all departments.
