Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM available
* Night shifts run 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weeknights, either Monday through Wednesday or Tuesday through Thursday with minimal to no call
* Mostly self-scheduling with generally no block scheduling
* Weeknight call requirements: 3-4 shifts per 6-week period
* Weekend call: not required unless additional help is needed
* Holiday call required
* Call response time is 2 hours
* No floating within the facility; in extreme situations, floating may occur within Zone 3 facilities
* Blue surgical scrubs provided
* 2-day unit/department specific orientation; must be in state for full week of orientation even if first day modules are remote
* Level 1 Trauma Center
* Acute care setting
* 17 operating suites with an average of 37 cases per day
* Common cases include Ortho Trauma/Joints, Robotics, Neuro/Spine, Plastics, ENT, Urology, and Level 1 Trauma
* Robotics and Trauma experience required
* Charge Nurse/House Supervisor available 24/7
* Charting system: EPIC
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA, CO DORA
* Driver's license must be submitted; must reside within 60 miles of facility

This acute care facility operates a large surgical department with 17 operating suites handling an array of complex cases including orthopedic trauma, robotics, neurosurgery, spine, plastics, ENT, and urology procedures. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, the facility maintains 24/7 charge nurse and house supervisor coverage to support its high-volume surgical environment. The organization is committed to delivering advanced surgical care and utilizes the EPIC charting system to support its clinical teams.
