Open Position: RN - PICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1919.92

Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Work in a Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU with 15 beds
* Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio
* Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including Intensivists, RNs, Respiratory Therapists, Desk Techs, Dietary, and Case Management
* Utilize General CR Monitoring equipment
* Document using Meditech/CPN EMR system
* Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and PALS
* CRRT experience preferred
* APHON certification preferred
* Pediatric teaching hospital experience preferred
* Must work well under pressure and in a teaching hospital environment
* Strong patient care experience is a priority

This facility is a pediatric hospital operating within a larger medical center, featuring a Level II Trauma designation and a dedicated Pediatric ICU. The unit maintains a team of 38 staff members and provides specialized pediatric critical care services with around-the-clock intensivist coverage. The facility is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a teaching hospital environment with modern monitoring equipment and technology.
