Opportunity:

RN - L&D/PP/MB

Job Details:

* Night shift position with every other weekend requirement
* Must float between Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby units and assist other units as needed
* Potential to be placed on call per policy
* Unit includes 12 LDRP rooms, 1 OR suite for C-sections, and 1 triage bed
* Average 1.5 births per day and 50-60 births per month
* LDRP experience and couplet care required
* Must be able to circulate in the OR for C-sections
* Required to titrate Pitocin drips
* Fetal monitoring required using GE and OBIX systems
* Charting system: EPIC
* 1-2 shifts of unit/department specific orientation required
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Scrub color: Any professional colors
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

The unit follows AWHONN guidelines for staffing ratios and maintains a collaborative team including surgical technicians. The facility utilizes modern fetal monitoring technology and supports a well-rounded maternal care experience across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum services.
