Opportunity:

Job Details:
* 13-week temporary contract assignment
* 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 40 hours guaranteed work week
* On-call required including weekends and holidays
* Hospital-provided scrubs/dress code
* ARRT (with VI or CV credential) or RCIS certification required; BLS required
* Travel experience preferred; 3-5 years of experience required
* Assist in advanced procedures including pulmonary thrombectomy, AAA, TEVAR, and FEVAR
* Assist with complex procedures including multiple wire exchanges, long wires, and OTW balloons
* Operate specialty devices such as laser, penumbra, Inari, and shockwave
* Circulate, monitor, and scrub all Interventional Vascular procedures
* Troubleshoot imaging equipment in collaboration with biomedical engineers
* Participate in procedural charging and supply management
* Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
* Communicate plan of action with physicians and assist with high-risk procedures
* Cross-train as needed to support departmental needs
* Work with x-ray systems including panning table and various imaging angles
* Manage access sites including sheath removal, hematoma assessment, and hematoma management
* Apply radiation safety concepts and vascular anatomy knowledge
* Precept new staff and students as an Interventional Vascular Specialist
* Maintain sterile technique and effective communication with team, patients, families, and medical staff
