RN - LDRP

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Block scheduling available
* Every third weekend required
* Holiday coverage required depending on availability
* 2 years of experience required
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
* 3 orientation shifts of 12 hours each provided
* Care for patients 35+ weeks in labor and mom/baby couplets
* Unit consists of 4 L&D beds and 7 postpartum beds
* Follows AWHONN guidelines: Labor ratio 1:1-2, Postpartum ratio 1:2-3
* Required to titrate drips including Magnesium, Oxytocin, LR, and Zofran for antepartum/labor patients
* Postpartum drips include Prenatal vitamins, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, Percocet, and Toradol
* Work with neonatal respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPap, and high flow
* EFM system used: OB Trace Vue
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* Floating to MSP/ED may be required, primarily 1:1 patient sitting
* Circulate for baby during C-sections, with surgery team leading the procedure
* Scrubs provided
* Rural hospital setting with NICU located more than 1 hour away and limited services
* Successful candidates should demonstrate teamwork, independence, strong communication, and clinical knowledge
* Facial hair fit testing policy applies: must pass Primary or Secondary fit test (3M Aura 1860 or 3M 1870+); Portacount testing and PAPR are not available for clinicians with facial hair
