Job Details:

* Work in a day health center providing direct care to day health clients
* Provide supportive, therapeutic, and recreational activities to clients
* Assist with activities of daily living including eating/feeding, providing fluids, bathing, and dressing
* Support restorative care including use and application of assistive devices, range of motion activities, bowel and bladder training, and correct use of bed pans, urinals, and commodes
* Take vital signs, measure output, and recognize abnormal signs and symptoms
* Apply knowledge of infection control, universal precautions, and body mechanics
* Demonstrate understanding of patient rights and basic medical and nursing terminology
* Valid State of Hawaii Nurse Aide Certificate required
* Knowledge of the aging process and first aid required
