Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts starting at 8:00 AM
* 2 weekend shifts required per month
* First to float designation
* Primarily working in a skilled nursing facility with training to float to an inpatient acute care hospital located in the same parking lot
* Inpatient care setting only
* Treat 8-9 patients per day in a post-acute setting
* Cover stations A, B, C, and D
* Floor-specific orientation provided
* Common diagnoses include total joint replacements, stroke, deconditioning, pneumonia, balance difficulties, CVA, TKA, THA, COPD, and general medical conditions; primarily geriatric patients with chronic conditions including ortho and neuro patients
* Must be able to work independently and perform transfers
* Excellent communication skills required
* Must work closely with interdisciplinary team
* New graduates with a minimum of 6 months of experience in acute care or skilled nursing will be considered, with skilled nursing experience preferred
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrub color: Burgundy
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), California PT license
* No Rehab Aides, OTA, or PTA support available
* No BSN required
