Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - NICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Level IV NICU unit with 42 beds and staff of 100
* Patient ratios of 2:1 and 1:1
* Day and night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 14-17 RNs, and 1 unit coordinator
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care Level IV NICU experience required
* Level IV NICU experience is required - candidates without this will not be considered
* PICU experience for floating and post-surgical care experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS and NRP
* Work with equipment including incubators, radiant warmers, continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring, High Frequency Oscillating Ventilation, Jet Ventilation, Servo ventilation, tracheostomy, high-flow nasal cannula, NIPPV, central lines, PIVs, Foley catheters, titrated medications, continuous medications, intermittent IV/PO medications, chest tubes, and Arctic Sun
* EMR systems used: Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech
* Perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, PIV insertion, therapeutic hypothermia, lab draws, sepsis screening, gastric tube placement, circumcisions, and ROP exams
* High degree of professionalism, accountability, reliability, and emotional regulation in high-acuity environments expected
