Open Position: RN - OR ICU/SICU

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - RN - MSICU (653)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Days/nights rotation with weekend scheduling every other weekend
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 13-week assignment length
* ICU/CCU unit with 36 CCU beds and 30 Burn Trauma ICU beds
* Patient ratio of 2:1 with a supervisor on every shift and PCT support
* Documentation system: Meditech (experience preferred)
* Floating policy applies as needed
* Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience required
* Minimum 2+ years of ICU specialty experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Preferred certifications: TNCC, CCRN, TCRN
* Active RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Procedures performed on unit include central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside trachs, and chest tube insertions
* Scrub color: Royal Blue for RNs
* No artificial nails, gel, next gen, or similar nail enhancements permitted
* Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings

Facility:

This facility is a full-service medical center offering comprehensive critical care services, including a dedicated ICU/CCU and Burn Trauma ICU. The unit is well-staffed with supervisors present on every shift and patient care technicians available to support the nursing team. The facility utilizes the Meditech documentation system and is equipped to handle complex, high-acuity procedures such as central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside trachs, and chest tube insertions.
