Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Inpatient

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1974.80

Opportunity:

PT - Inpatient Rehab

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with flexible start and end times; 8-hour shifts are standard
* 2 weekends required during a 13-week assignment, added to the rotation with regular staff with 2 other days off during the week
* Patient caseload of 4-6 patients with an average of 3-4 treatments per day, occasionally 5 patients
* Work on a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with 2 therapy techs available during the week and 1 on weekends
* Utilize equipment including hi-low mats, Nustep, II bars, steps, balls, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, and BITS interactive computer system
* Document using Meditech documentation system
* Perform wound care procedures as needed
* Experience with inpatient rehab and the Care Tool preferred
* No floating policy
* Required dress code: black scrubs and closed-toe shoes
* Required certification: BLS
* Minimum 1 year of patient experience required

This 354-bed healthcare facility is located near the Georgia-South Carolina border and is well known for housing the largest burn center in the country, seeing more than 3,000 patients annually. The facility also features a Human Motion Institute focused on helping patients regain mobility, an emergency room known for the shortest wait times in the area, and a full range of medical services including a Digestive Disease Center, Pelvic Health Institute, and Stroke Center.
